United Cellars and Kennards Self Storage announce strategic alliance under the brand The United Wine Trust

united-wine-trust-logoThe United Wine Trust is a new concept developed by wine retailer United Cellars in association with Australia’s leading storage provider, Kennards Self Storage.

The alliance gives clients of Kennards Wine Storage access to United Cellars extensive network of wineries, distributors and importers, and the opportunity to connect with the personalised service, knowledge and enthusiasm of United Cellars staff.

United Cellars’ clients will benefit from the storage advice and expertise of Australia’s largest self-storage company.

United Cellars and Kennards Wine Storage clients and members of the press will get their first opportunity to experience the distinctive approach of the United Wine Trust at the inaugural United Wine Trust Treasure Hunt – to be hosted at the Kennards Self Storage facility in Artarmon on 18 February, 2010. It is the first of a series of joint events, including further treasure hunts that will be rolled out nationwide throughout the year.

‘This alliance is about two leading companies leveraging their special skills to provide both existing and new clients a wonderful array of new experiences and services. Wine is at its best when it is shared with others and the United Wine Trust experience is about bringing wines to life among a community of like-minded people,’ says Anthony Ghattas, Managing Director of United Cellars.

Sam Kennard, Managing Director of Kennards Storage Group, agrees that there is a clear alignment in values, entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to innovation within the two companies.

‘United are innovative and emerging and offer their clients great customer intimacy and personal service that will benefit our current and future clients. In turn, we believe that the United customers will appreciate the savings and value they can gain from storing their wine with us.’

The establishment of the United Wine Trust signals the beginning of a new alliance between the United Lifestyle Group, parent company of United Cellars, and Kennards Self Storage, two fiercely independent and pioneering Australian companies.

  7. If there’s one thing about the self storage industry, it’s that it’s always growing!

  11. Congratulations KSS for adding Safe Deposit Boxes for your clients. As a previous manager of KSS at Leumeah we were asked by some customers about this idea and I am so pleased to see that you are now implementing them in some of your locations. 14. A quick hello from the other side of the world. I help run a small self storage warehouse in Letchworth, UK and I am always interested to see what is happening in Australia as it is so much more advanced than the UK in terms of self storage. Some of your buildings are really beautiful and it really is good that such buildings are refreshed and brought to life rather than fall into dilapidation and become eyesores like many such buildings in city centres.

  15. In fact, this is a company that is moral and transparent in all of our dealings. They only give you as much storage space as you require, they refund all unused rent and have removed all ambiguous administration fees once connected with signing up for self storage.

  16. It is just because it becomes very difficult to judge the quantity of cartons you will require while purchasing moving boxes, Kennards Self Storage offers a great service through the Kennards box buy back benefit.

  17. Very cool how you guys buy the boxes back. good idea

  18. Buying boxes back is a great idea. Is it successful for you?

  19. Thanks for the positive comments about our box buy-back program. Its been a great success! It adds real value to the customers experience by saving them costs and helping the environment. The customer can make their own decision – Do I buy new? Do I make use of the buy-back with Kennards or do I buy some of the great condition second hand boxes in stock?

  20. Touchdown! That’s a rlealy cool way of putting it!

  21. thank you for post very nice blog thank you admin ..

  22. Why do I bother calling up ppeole when I can just read this!

  23. Yes it is very useful information that your wine collector’s item can be stored with complete privacy and security.

  24. That sound like good old Customer Service to me…. not enough of it about though. It is so good to read notes like this.

  25. I really like it. I enjoyed reading it so much and I will surely gonna be back to look at more updates on your page. Thanks for sharing!
