News & Updates

In these crazy times of Covid I found that my hours of work were cut considerably and I needed to make some extra cash. I was cleaning out my wardrobe when I thought why not sell online some of the designer clothes I have that do not fit me or I no longer wear. This has turned into a great money spinner for me.

Firstly, I started out selling my unwanted clothes, then my family and friends said why don’t you sell ours as well. I then started going to flee markets and was picking up designer labels and selling them at sometimes for a very large profit. You just need to know what to look for and what the price of things are selling for.

I made a list of the brands I wanted to sell and the most popular sizes, I also checked out what similar items were selling for online. Once I got started selling I was getting good feedback on the items I was selling so the ball really started rolling.

I purchased a clothes dummy so that the clothes could be shown on a model and I always made sure that they were clean and pressed to make them more appealing. I started adding shoes and handbags and they have taken off as well.

This has grown so much that I make as much money from selling online as my full time job. I needed a place to keep them other than my house as I had run out of space. I looked for storage and found Kennards Self Storage Mayfield was the place for me, not only can I keep my items there, but I have 24 hour access and I can even leave my sales items in their office to either be picked up by my customers or by a courier.  This is a great service as it frees up my time for other things.
