City Overview

The coastal City of Newcastle is situated in the Hunter Region approximately 160kms north of Sydney and is home to stunning beaches, gorgeous shorelines and heritage ocean baths. It is the economic core of the Hunter Region and is renowned as being one of the biggest exporting ports of coal in the world. Newcastle (or Muloobinba) is rich in history and lays claim to a proud heritage acknowledging Awabakal and Worimi peoples as traditional custodians of the land.
