Construction is underway in Adelaide’s southern suburbs for Kennards Self Storage 4th location in the South Australian market. The company will invest over $4M in a Seaford Meadows property it acquired in 2015.
The Onkaparinga Council took over six months to assess the rather innocuous application from Kennards to develop 31 Seaford Rd in to one of their new state of the art self storage centres.
The company was attracted to the growth expected in Seaford and surrounding suburbs and lack of quality of self storage provided in the area.
The new Seaford storage centre will have an abundance of drive-up access spaces, while the major loading areas are also covered to provide protection from the elements from the customers.
Small and emerging businesses will appreciate the Enterprise Spaces available at the centre. Kennards offer these commercial spaces without having there business owner to commit to a Lease; provide a bond or guarantee; and without any legal expenses.
The Seaford centre will also offer 24 hour access, meeting room and free wi-fi.
Kennards now anticipate the new centre will open in August this year.
