On the 26th October Kennards FREEDOM Fighters are taking part in the inaugural Stepping Stone House, Sleep Under the Stars event with 400 other participants.
We believe every Young Person in Australia should have a safe home.

One by one Not for Profit organisation Stepping Stone House are restoring lives of our homeless youth.
Breaking them from the shackles of welfare, helping them build a career and the skills to support themselves in independence.

Domestic violence, abuse, trauma, neglect and family breakdowns cover many reasons why our young people end up living rough.
Most, through no fault of their own.

We’ve been working with Stepping Stone House since its inception, challenging the status quo on how society views our homeless crisis.
An alarming number of more than 47,000 youth live rough, no fixed address, rain hail and shine; Some as young as five.

Homeless shelters have their place, but they don’t fix the underlying problems. It takes on going counselling, support and education to undo trauma.
It takes trust, and it takes a society.

Stepping Stone House keep it real. Long term housing and live in counsellors. Rebuilding their residents foundations so they can complete school, learn a trade and live independently.

Over the years we’ve watched on as one by one their live in residents “graduate” from the house, happy, healthy and independent. Many in full time careers.

Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 for this tremendous cause.
