Melbourne CBD is known to have low humidity levels in summer and winters are generally fairly cold and wet.  During the months between November and March dry hot weather with occasional rain and thunderstorms occur due to the approach of a southerly change in wind.  The average temperature in winter is 14C and in summer the average is 25C so the use of sun protection between the months of December and February is highly advised.

A: Our Port Melbourne centre has drive up access to many units. Our Maribyrnong centre just over 10 minutes away from Port Melbourne also has drive up access to many units. 


Q: I have a gun that needs to be stored away from my home in a gun safe?

A: Kennards Self Storage Huntingdale rent lockers for Guns. Our gun storage spaces are individually alarmed and our properties are equipped with digital CCTV systems. The cameras are placed strategically though out our properties. Rifle and long arm firearm gun storage comes in two sizes - three gun and five gun spaces. Pistol safes are also available in some locations with one size only, holding up to three pistols.     


Q: Security is a priority for me when storing my goods. What sort of surveillance do you have at your centres?

A: Majority of our centres have individually alarmed spaces and CCTV surveillance throughout, with multiple cameras. Our centres are also equipped with PIN code access in and out of the centre. 


Q: Am I able to buy boxes and packing materials at all your centres?

A: Every single Kennards Self Storage centre has a Box Shop for all your packing, moving and storing needs. Also, you do not have to store with us to take advantage of our Box Shop.
